** - Are you an enthusiastic Radiologic Technologist looking to take your career to the next level? - Join our dynamic team where you will perform a variety of exciting radiographic procedures!

* Key Responsibilities:

** - Review requisitions to pinpoint areas of interest and refer to exam guidelines for optimum views.

- Utilize your knowledge of anatomy for proper positioning to produce high-quality images.

- Communicate with patients to gather pertinent history and explain procedures in an accessible way.

- Assess patient conditions and collaborate with nursing personnel for optimal care.

- Keep up with radiology charge reports to ensure accurate billing.

- Work closely with radiologists and referring providers to improve exam processes.

- Use the latest radiographic and Computed Tomography (CT) equipment effectively.

- Manage portable and C-Arm equipment in both hospital and operating room settings.

- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and utilize personal barrier equipment when necessary.

- Demonstrate sterile techniques when handling contrast media and ensure proper checks are conducted.

- Calibrate equipment and maintain image quality, ensuring high diagnostic standards.
** Professional Communication:** - Uphold confidentiality while interacting with diverse patients and families.

- Provide compassionate care and information to alleviate anxiety.

- Build professional relationships and relay crucial information to fellow care team members.
** Teamwork:** - Collaborate with peers to complete patient imaging and provide clinical assistance as needed.

- Report on patient conditions to relevant parties, including physicians and clinical directors.

- Engage in problem-solving and conflict resolution to foster effective teamwork.
** Professional Development:** - Attend staff meetings and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills.

- Actively participate in the review of unit-based care statements and peer evaluations.

- Aid in data collection and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.

* Qualifications:

**
- Education:

Accredited Radiologic Technology Program completion.

- Experience:

Minimum of three years in imaging; CT experience is essential.

- Licensure:
Current Washington State DOH Certified Radiologic Technologist license;
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

- Registration: ARRT (R)
