Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Current licensure or eligibility for Occupational Therapist certification as required by state regulations
• Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Comfort and expertise working with students from Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Familiarity with IEP processes, goal-setting, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
• Flexibility and creativity to adapt interventions for diverse student needs and age groups

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to support student participation and success in school routines and academics
• Evaluate students functional, sensory, and motor skills, conducting assessments as part of the IEP process
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to integrate OT strategies into daily activities
• Engage and support family involvement through regular communication and resources
• Maintain accurate case documentation and meet all compliance requirements
