About the Role:

As a CBRE Finance Director, you will play a vital role in sculpting the financial future of our publicly traded multinational technology client. This role goes beyond simply managing numbers; it's about crafting and executing financial strategies that drive growth and ensure stability. You'll collaborate with and lead team members, providing crucial insights and ensuring the fiscal health of our client.

This position is a vital part of the Financial Strategy and Operations team. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and reinforcing our accounting, financial reporting, and internal control policies. You'll be a guardian of accuracy and transparency, contributing to a culture of trust and accountability, and ultimately, the long-term success of our client.

What you’ll do

• Ability to lead initiatives and collaborate effectively across global markets and lead global teams with diverse cultural environments.
• Provide formal supervision to employees. Track the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Plan and execute budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning processes, and management reporting.
• Work with management to establish departmental priorities to meet deadlines. Develop financial policies and procedures.
• Work with the Operations team to support initiatives within the business. Execute CAPEX projects under company approval guidelines.
• Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
• Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
