• Developing treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases.
• Educating and guiding patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life‑span and the skills necessary to provide age‑appropriate care to the patients served.
• Performs diagnostic tests and screening evaluations.
• Manages overall patient care regarding lifestyle and development issues.
• Prescribes medications while using medication reference, as needed.
• Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and religious/spiritual needs of patients and family.
• Revises plan of care as indicated by the patients' response to treatment.
• Assists patients in managing chronic conditions, treating illnesses and helping patients make educated choices about their lifestyle, health and well‑being.

• Must have a current Indiana Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license. (DEA, NPI, CSR)
• Current BLS certification. ACLS preferred
• Completion of required CME's.
• Computer skills for documentation of patients charts in an EMR.
• Ability to communicate in English; both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages beneficial, but not required.
• Demonstrates the ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
• Must be able to multi‑task as well as being a team player.
