- Manage day-to-day operation, maintenance, and performance tuning of on-prem SQL Server instances and databases
- Install, configure, and patch SQL Server environments, including managing SQL Server Agent jobs
- Maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability
- Administer SQL Server security, managing logins, users, roles, and permissions
- Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, providing support to application teams and vendors
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology
- Strong understanding of database operations and performance tuning
- Experience with SQL Server environments and database management
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot database-related issues
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or closely related field
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration
- Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Proficiency in scripting with T-SQL, Python, and/or Power Shell
- Knowledge of cloud database concepts, particularly Google Cloud SQL
