Position Summary: The Salesforce Manager is critical to enabling data‑driven decision‑making across our sales and leadership teams. This position ensures teams have reliable, actionable data to drive strategic decisions. The role manages system configuration, data integrity, and user adoption while collaborating across departments to translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

30% 1. System Administration & Configuration
  • Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce, maintaining performance, security, and data integrity.
  • Manage user setup, roles, profiles, permissions, and licenses.
  • Customize and maintain standard and custom objects, fields, record types, and page layouts.
  • Conduct regular system audits and manage data quality and deduplication processes.
25% 2. Reporting, Dashboards & Analytics
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for Sales, Marketing, and Executive teams.
  • Ensure reports align with strategic business goals and KPIs.
  • Monitor data accuracy and update visualizations as business needs evolve.
20% 3. Automation & Process Optimization
  • Develop and maintain automated processes using Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline business processes through automation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement continuous improvements.
20% 4. Training, Support, and Continuous Improvement
  • Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support to improve adoption and system usage.
  • Act as the internal Salesforce subject‑matter expert for troubleshooting and guidance.
  • Support integrations with other business systems and third‑party applications.
  • Stay up to date on Salesforce releases and recommend relevant enhancements.
5% 5. Other duties as assigned. Conditions of Employment:
  • Must comply with all John I. Haas, Inc. policies and procedures, including successful passing of pre‑employment background check and drug test.
  • Must comply with our Integrated Management System (IMS) and be trained on procedures applicable to the requirements of the position, including managing significant quality, environmental, and food safety aspects.
  • Work a 40-hour work week but be flexible and able to work longer hours and/or weekends to meet business needs.
  • Valid driver’s license and able to travel regularly on Company business (domestic and limited international).
Qualifications:

Required:
  • Extensive (e.g., 10 years of progressive experience) Salesforce administration mastery, with an emphasis on UI and design.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (active) and familiarity with B2B sales environments in ingredient, manufacturing, or related industries. Must be able to maintain certification.
  • Proven success managing a Salesforce environment supporting sales and marketing teams, including user administration and data governance.
  • Demonstrated expertise in integrating Mule Soft and Salesforce Lightning Commerce within the  ecosystem to enable seamless data flow, optimize API‑driven architectures, and deliver scalable, customer‑centric solutions.
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards that inform both tactical operations and executive decision‑making.
  • Demonstrated ability to configure Salesforce objects, fields, and automation tools (e.g., flows, process builder, workflow rules) to meet evolving business requirements.
