Network Specialist Security Clearance

Position: Network Specialist with Security Clearance
Location: Coupeville

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Specialist to support a company focused on security systems within the DOD. This position is on-site in Whidbey Island, WA. The specialist will support, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, BAN, and WAN environments in support of mission‑critical defense operations. Responsibilities for the Network Specialist include:
* Evaluate and troubleshoot communication hardware, software, and network connectivity issues across LAN/BAN/WAN environments
* Administer and maintain network operations, ensuring performance, availability, and security compliance
* Coordinate and execute network conversions, cutovers, and upgrades with stakeholders and remote sites
* Support the integration, testing, and performance optimization of large‑scale, complex network systems
* Collaborate with users, engineers, and site personnel to resolve incidents and improve network reliability

Required Qualifications for the Network Specialist include:
* 4+ years of experience supporting and administering enterprise network environments
* Experience with LAN, BAN, WAN architectures and OEM networking equipment (Cisco or equivalent)
* Strong troubleshooting, configuration, and network performance optimization skills
* Active Security+ certification and OEM network certification such as CCNA
* Active Secret Clearance Compensation for the Network Specialist include:
* Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
