PRN Occupational Therapist

Blue Stone Therapy is a Great Place to Work! Seeking PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) support in Washington. Blue Stone Therapy provides contract physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology services to communities in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. The focus is to deliver optimal, individualized rehabilitation by highly skilled professional therapists while developing long-term partnerships between our staff and the communities they serve.

• Directly participate in occupational therapy treatment interventions and services in accordance with state practice guidelines.
• Provide direct patient care to primarily adult and geriatric patients.
• Screen and evaluate to determine requirements for skilled occupational therapy intervention relative to the patient’s prior level of function.
• Develop and implement treatment plans that focus on functional and measurable outcomes and adhere to professional standards of practice.
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide appropriate supervision for occupational therapy assistants in compliance with licensure, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Collaborate with, coordinate, and participate in training programs for community staff, patients, families, and rehabilitation staff.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.

• Successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

• Current valid Occupational Therapist license to practice in the appropriate state.
