Operations Manager, Procurement / Purchasing
A Leading Infrastructure Contractor is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team based from any regional office.
The main objective of the role is to develop and implement the business unit supply chain management strategy supporting the delivery of regional civil engineering projects.
You will:
- Identify new and develop existing suppliers and subcontractors for national projects.
- Develop strong relationships with commercial and operational stakeholders.
- Lead and develop a small supply chain management team.
- Lead the negotiation and management of a few key subcontractor trades.
- Ensure the supply chain is onboarded and performance managed in line with KPIs.

Managing a supply chain subcontract spend of c.£200m for a business unit with an annual turnover of £450m+.
You will work closely with commercial and operational leads to ensure the supply chain strategy is delivered.
Candidate RequirementsOur client is looking for strategic procurement professionals looking for a career move. Ideally you will currently be operating as a Supply Chain Manager or Procurement Manger.
You will have demonstrable experience of setting and delivering procurement and/or supply chain strategies across any sector of infrastructure or construction.
You will have a strong personality and have the gravitas to interface with internal stakeholder to ensure buy in on the strategy you implement.
