Position: Warehouse Supervisor - End of Week Schedule
Location: Fairfield

Overview

Schneider Electric is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Manager to lead and optimize warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and team performance to support production and customer delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Manage material flow from the warehouse to two factories, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager in developing material flow strategies to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Ensure compliance with documented processes and company standards.
  • Optimize warehouse layout to improve space utilization, material handling efficiency, and safety.
  • Manage and develop warehouse team members through training, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting and reconciliation processes.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with planning, procurement, and production teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time shipments, and productivity.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve service levels.
  • Attend daily SIM (Short Interval Management) meetings and management reviews to align priorities and performance.
  • Support ISO audits and maintain documentation for compliance with quality standards.
Reporting

You will report to the Up & Downstream - EMS Planning Leader. This role is an onsite position. You are required to report to the Fairfield, OH facility for the end of week schedule, Wednesdays - Saturdays.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
  • Strong knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory control processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lean/5S and continuous improvement experience preferred.
  • Relevant Certifications (preferred):
    • APICS CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management)
    • CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)
    • CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution)
    • OSHA Safety Certification
    • Forklift Operator Certification (if applicable)
