Uses established processes to set up, program, and operate various types of industrial grade machines to form, cut, bend, size, and/or machine aerospace quality components from Nickel, Stainless, and Titanium alloys.

• Works in a team environment to meet daily production goals using engine lathes, milling machines, punch press, forming press, shear, press brake, expander and/or other machinery to produce high quality details to flow into the assembly value streams.
• Ensures proper setup of machines to yield quality parts conforming to customer designed tolerances.
• Understands and follows written instructions, sketches, drawings, and documents.
• Uses precision measuring instruments to check tolerances and quality of parts.
• Performs all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
• Ensures proper documentation is entered on manufacturing planning and paperless timecard system.
• Works under direct oversight.

• Basic understanding of manufacturing planning and sketches.
• Knows when to stop and ask for clarification.
• Understands proper setup and use of tooling associated with machines.
• Familiarity with machine tools, precision instruments and good manual dexterity.
• Can perform shop mathematics associated with machining operations.
• May have demonstrated expertise in a particular machine type, or work on one single purpose machine.
• Will perform any other duties assigned to help drive our vision, fulfill our commitments, and carry out our organization’s virtues.

• Demonstrates proper and safe operation of equipment, and personal protective equipment including safety glasses/full face shield, hearing protection, heat reflective body garments and gloves as required.

• Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body, such as climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, balancing and handling of material.

• Pay Range: $19.25/hr to $24.25/hr
• Participation in Annual Incentive Program
