At Shredfast Inc., an Electrical Technician – Tier 1 works under the supervision of the Electrical Department Lead, performing installations, repairs and replacement of a variety of electrical components integrated into production builds. This position must demonstrate an attention to detail and a strong ability to focus.

$20.00 - $22.50/hr DOE

• Assemble, install, and test electrical components
• Follow service guides, schematics and manufacturer specifications
• Repair or replace defective components
• Perform basic electrical parts preparation work
• Reassemble and test equipment after equipment repairs are completed
• Perform basic electrical truck chassis preparation
• Clean work area
• Other duties as assigned

• General understanding of mobile electronics required
• Ability to correctly identify color-coded components
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of various electrical connectors
• Basic hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge preferred
• Previous experience with car stereo/security installations preferred
• Read a tape measure
• Ability to use basic hand tools, drills & air tools
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when moving heavy items such as large spools of electrical wire and boxes of components, and be able to sit, stand, crouch and kneel
• Self-motivated and able to stay on task with good attention to detail
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Reliable transportation for work commute
• 18 years of age or older
• Tools are provided

• Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Opportunity to make additional wages with overtime
