Shipping & Inventory Clerk I – Life Port
Location:
Woodland, WA
Performs a variety of tasks relating to day-to-day sales, product transportation, receipt, delivery and control of materials in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions- Basic inventory control functions
- Monitor inventory levels for accuracy
- Organize and maintain materials on hand
- Assist with loading/unloading materials from trucks using forklift and/or pallet jack
- Chemical management, including stocking and checking expiration dates
- Work order processing, including order picking, delivering kits and completing ERP transactions
- Perform Daily Cycle Counts
- Bin Stock Control and Replenishment
- Material logistics between multiple locations on campus
- Verify and keep records on outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment
- Schedule outbound shipments with carrier(s)
- Monitor/order shipping materials
- General housekeeping
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- High level of self‑motivation
- Proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP/MRP Systems preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of forklift experience preferred
- Experience in a production environment preferred
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment. Ability to lift 35–50 lbs. All employees are expected to adhere to company safety policies and wear personal protective equipment when exposed to work areas or performing tasks where it is required.
