This position is located in Hamilton, Washington State and is looking for applicants for our Swing Shift.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading one or more teams in the execution of all production processes. This position requires understanding of risk assessment and management as it relates to production and safety activities. The primary responsibility of the Production Supervisor is to ensure the assigned work is completed in a timely manner. This includes assigning and explaining daily tasks to technicians;

monitoring work progress and compliance with policies and procedures; training and assisting technicians. The Production Supervisor uses judgment independently and makes difficult decisions (i.e., layoffs, disciplinary actions, prioritizing multiple projects, and hiring employees.) The Production Supervisor will work with the Operations Manager and Manufacturing Engineering to improve processes.

The following essential job functions are performed as a Production Supervisor:

General Responsibilities (All Levels & Focus Areas):

• Reviews production work orders, schedules and manages processes to ensure that the product is manufactured in accordance with the documented customer requirements and work instructions
• Manages priorities and work assignments each day that are determined in conjunction with Operations Management
• Supervises a small workforce, while personally maintaining at least 80% billable hours to Projects
• Coordinates all production activities with Hamilton Ops, Hwy 20 Ops, Project Management, and Cell Managers
• Guiding and impacting outcomes, enabling groups of people to work together to accomplish shared objectives.
• Provides training and assistance to cell leads on handling risk management, employee issues, work order issues, CDIs, or other problems or concerns as they arise
• Provides Risk management of facilities and workforce
• Handles all facility-related concerns as they arise and resolves operational/manufacturing problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
• Provides CDI inspections as needed. Must have CDI stamp within 60 days of start of position
• JI Forklift and Crane certified
• Utilizes QCBD, SAP, and Kronos (to monitor attendance; fix clock-ins, etc.)
• Works towards continuous improvement by building the technical skills of the team and constantly improving quality and efficiency
• Implements standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with JI standards, Safety, 5S, Haz Mat, AS9100, and NADCAP Standards and Practices
• Reviews Timecards and corrects clock-ins as needed for the assigned crew and reports any issues or problems to Operations Manager/Cell Manager
• Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data
