Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-focused and dependable Accounts Payable & Receivable Clerk to support our Finance Department. This role will execute transactions related to accounts payable and accounts receivable with accuracy, timeliness, and a commitment to excellent internal service. This is a part‑time position averaging 25 hours per week, fully on‑site, reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and working closely with several members of the Finance team.

- Timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices.
- Proper matching of purchasing and receiving documents.
- Research PO matching discrepancies with appropriate personnel.
- Ensure proper approvals on non‑PO invoices.
- Correctly distribute expenses to general ledger accounts.
- Process weekly payments accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain proper filing and storage of records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Timely and accurate processing of daily cash applications.
- Contact customers regarding payment discrepancies.
- Set up and maintain designated customer account data.
- Process select customer invoicing through portal systems.
- Release credit holds based on assigned thresholds.
- Respond to credit reference requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Maintain the postage meter and ensure adequate funding.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support process improvement initiatives.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience involving accounts payable and receivable.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability.
- Professional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent grammar and language skills.
