Fair Manager

The Washington Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Full-Time Fair Manager to oversee the planning and operation of the Washington Town & Country Fair.

• Coordinate all aspects of the annual fair and fairground operations
• Work closely with the Fair Board, Chamber leadership, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and community partners
• Manage budgeting, contracts, sponsor ships, and financial records
• Coordinate entertainment, vendors, volunteers, facilities, security, and event operations
• Assist with marketing, public relations, and community outreach
• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and successful experience for fairgoers

• Experience in event management, fair management, business, nonprofit, or related field
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with budgeting, contracts, sponsor ships, and coordinating multiple projects
• Ability to work effectively with volunteers, boards, businesses, vendors, and the public
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business administration, event management, hospitality, agriculture, communications, or a related field preferred;
  Work experience in lieu of degrees will be considered
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
