We are currently seeking multiple CNC Machinist Operators to operate computer numerical control machines and conventional machines to fabricate parts. Responsibilities include loading parts into the machine, running cycles, detecting malfunctions such as worn or damaged cutting tools, managing production lots, communicating with co‑workers regarding production runs, and maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment. All actions support Sonaca North America’s Quality Policy, Mission Statement and other policies and procedures, championing quality, lean processes, continuous improvement, on‑time delivery, safety, teamwork, individual accountability, and respect for people.

Pay Range: $17.68 – $28 per hour (base rate)

Shift differential is additional on top of hourly wages.

Shifts Available:

• 1st shift – M–Th 6:00 am–4:30 pm
• 2nd shift – M–Th 4:00 pm–2:00 am (15% Shift Differential)
• Weekend Days – 5:00 am–5:30 pm (28% Shift Differential)
• Weekend Nights – 5:00 pm–5:30 am (28% Shift Differential)

• Run production on CNC machining center
• Check and monitor the parts that are being run
• Read the basic dimensions and tolerances of a blueprint
• Ensure quality standards are being met
• Produce the proper amount of parts per machine cycle time
• Deburr and blend all machined parts
• Perform daily maintenance: maintain fluid levels, empty chips, wipe down machine to remove coolant, dust, and debris
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Complete paperwork accurately and maintain records as necessary
• Maintain reliable attendance, being present and on time

• Previous experience with 4‑Axis and/or 5‑Axis machining
• High school diploma or equivalency preferred; candidates lacking a diploma must complete a pre‑employment assessment
• Trade school training in machining practices preferred
• Math skills for basic calculations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Ability to use measuring equipment (calipers/micrometers)
• Strong concentration, focus, and strict attention to detail independently

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Work in noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud
• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) on the manufacturing floor (eye, ear, and foot protection)
• May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10–50 pounds
