Job SummaryJoin a team building the software platform that connects commercial refrigeration systems in the field to the cloud. Our engineers solve complex problems across IoT, device networking, edge connectivity, distributed systems, cloud services, APIs, data pipelines, and web applications—with software that directly operates at the intersection of physical equipment and digital systems.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll own services and capabilities end to end, shape architecture and technical direction, and solve challenging problems involving thousands of connected devices, unreliable field networks, high-volume telemetry, scalability, security, and system reliability. You’ll work across the technology stack, lead technical design discussions, and help build systems that are robust in the field and scalable in the cloud.
This is an opportunity to have meaningful technical ownership while working on a real-world IoT platform where software decisions directly impact how commercial refrigeration systems are monitored, managed, and optimized.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications and services.
- Build scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and web applications.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software, networking, and system-level issues.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern frontend technologies.
- Implement secure backend services supporting authentication, authorization, and session management.
- Design APIs that enable seamless integration between frontend, backend, and third-party systems.
- Optimize system performance through caching and efficient API design.
- Deploy and support applications in Linux-based environments.
- Monitor system performance and analyze application and system logs.
- Diagnose network, connectivity, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Collaborate with Dev Ops and platform teams to improve system reliability and scalability.
