POSITION TITLE: Extra-On-Call General Maintenance

STATUS: Non-Exempt, On-Call

PAY: $16.66/hour

• Grounds Maintenance:
  • Mowing, trimming, pruning, ground preparation, fertilizing, spraying, irrigation, seeding, landscaping.
  • Maintain lawn equipment and maintenance records.
  • Maintain general grounds cleanup and trash removal.
• Assist in general maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities.
• Maintain accurate work order requests.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance (working circumstances the exception).
• Assist in the maintenance of the swimming pool and supplies.
• Building Maintenance:
  • Prepare cabins for group use.
  • Dust down cob webs, sweep and mop floor and bathroom.
  • Disinfect shower, toilet and sink; clean windows.
  • Restock all paper products.
  • Empty all trash and replace trashcan liner.
  • Vacuum rooms where carpet is present.
  • Replace any burned out light bulbs.
  • Clean all other buildings as required in support of scheduled programming or rental group use.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in any duties as requested to maintain a consistently high level of efficiency in the operation of the camp program.

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects and reach overhead.
• Ability to operate telephone.
• Ability to operate a desktop or laptop computer.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access and produce information from a computer.
• Ability to understand written information.
