Summary

Coordinates Customer Service activities between Representative and or Customer for Containment Products, HVAC, and Carbon Products by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for customer purchase orders and associated paperwork to be entered into ERP system accurately
  • Create project files to share with Engineering
  • Enters changes to an existing Purchase Order from a customer or representative into ERP system and verifies that the project file is updated accordingly
  • Works with sales reps in coordinating customer information and product detail by providing literature, basic technical and product information as required
  • Process request for new customer additions and coordinate with Corporate Credit department
  • Process request for new part numbers as required
  • Work with customers on issues, concerns or problems they may have
  • Keep the Customer Service Supervisor aware of any credits to be issued and/or back charges that may be eminent
  • Maintain Customer Quote Log. Manage the Request for quote email
Minimum Qualifications
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Two-year certificate from college or university or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have above average reading comprehension, writing and oral communication skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Technical math skills required
  • Must have strong reasoning ability. Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office, warehouse, and plant environments. The work environment will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
