BSN from a regionally accredited institution plus two years of clinical nursing experience.

Must be willing to meet the NCBON Rules regarding Part-Time Nursing Faculty:

• Prior to or within the first three years of employment, have education in teaching and learning principles for adult education, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation, appropriate to faculty assignment. Once completed, this education need not be repeated if the employing organization is changed.
• Education may be demonstrated by one of the following:
• (A) completion of 45 contact hours of Board‑approved continuing education courses;
• (B) completion of a certificate program in nursing education;
• (C) nine semester hours of graduate coursework in adult learning and learning principles;
• (D) national certification in nursing education;
• (E) documentation of completion of structured, individualized development activities of at least 45 contact hours approved by the Board (criteria include content in faculty role, curricular objectives, review of strategies for identified student population, and expectations of student and faculty performance);
• (F) individuals with prior teaching experience in an academic setting shall be evaluated by the Program Director to assess each individual’s prior teaching experience commensurate with formal education in teaching and learning principles of adult education, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation appropriate to faculty assignment.

MSN from a regionally accredited institution is preferred.

Will consider applicants with experience in:

• Med‑Surgical (general, intermediate, critical care)
• Home Health/Hospice
• Pediatrics

• Work with the lead instructor to participate in planning and evaluation of the course and clinical experience.
• Orient students to their assigned clinical unit.
• Make clinical assignments that are relevant to the associated course objectives.
• Evaluate student clinical performance.

FLSA Exempt

Estimated Hours per Week: 12‑29 hours per week, depending on instructor preference, clinical rotation assignments, and regulatory needs.
