Position Summary

This is a part‑time faculty position teaching courses in Agribusiness. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, hybrid, blended, NCIH broadcast, and lab‑based sections. The position may also serve as a substitute instructor for other Agribusiness courses on an as‑needed basis.

Minimum Qualifications

An Associate’s Degree in Agriculture or a related field of study from a regionally accredited institution with experience in agribusiness, OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agriculture Education, or a related area of study from a regionally accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior teaching experience at the post‑secondary level.
  • Provide classroom and laboratory instruction for students in a traditional course setting.
  • Participate in course and curriculum design.
  • Adhere to the departmental course guidelines and ensure that content covers approved student learning outcomes.
  • Maintain all required college records including attendance and grade reports.
  • Evaluate student performance using methods appropriate to the course.
  • Measure and report required student learning outcomes.
  • Assist students in receiving needed instructional resources.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
