American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position with night shifts and Cerner EMR at a critical access hospital.

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a critical access hospital
• Unit has approximately 300 deliveries annually
• Nurses may also care for postpartum patients when there are no labor cases
• Staffing typically consists of two nurses per shift with a 1:4 ratio, occasionally 1:5 during high activity
• Trauma Center Level IV with a 25-bed facility and an average daily census of 10
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts, 19:00 to 07:00
• Cerner is used as the EMR system
• Shift assignments include weekdays and some weekends
• First time travelers are accepted for this position
• Nurses may float to postpartum patients as needed
• No scrubs provided; any color scrubs may be worn
• Candidates who were previously employed must have been gone for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Housing recommendations are available upon request

• Active WA or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Two professional references from the past two years in Labor and Delivery required
• Proof of identification required, including driver’s license and Social Security card
