Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a critical access hospital, requiring WA or compact RN license and BCLS certification.

• Work in a critical access hospital with a Level IV trauma center
• Labor and Delivery unit with approximately 300 deliveries per year
• Patient census averages 10 per day
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, occasionally 1:5 depending on admits and discharges
• OB nurses may also cover Postpartum patients when there are no active labor cases
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, including some weekends
• Cerner EMR is used
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• Return travelers must not have worked at this facility in the past year
• Scrubs are not provided; any color scrubs may be worn
• Supportive two-nurse per shift staffing model
• Housing recommendations are available for travelers

• Active WA or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BCLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Two references reflecting at least 2 years in the specialty required
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security Number required for consideration
