Position Overview

The Hospice Registered Nurse (Expiration)
** iel (RN) Part‑Time at Tri‑Cities Chaplaincy plays a vital role in delivering high‑quality hospice care in the comfort of patients' homes Algemene and facilities. This position involves managing symptoms, providing family support, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered end‑of‑life care.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse Licensure in Washington State.
  • Certification in Cardio‑Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Safety (BLS).
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, as driving is an essential function of this role. Must meet insurance eligibility requirements.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to independently drive within Tri‑Cities Chaplaincy’s service areas to provide in‑home patient and family services and support in clients' homes, facilities, and community locations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Moderateucket computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Regular weekend availability and available to work on‑call a minimum of two holiday shifts per year.
  • Ability to report to the assigned work location(s) as scheduled and maintain consistent, reliable attendance.
  • This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen, which includes cannabis testing in Washington State.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages.

    Compensation

    Hiring Range: $37.67/hour – $57.22/hour

    Premiums
    • $2.50/hour Weeknight
    • $2.25/hour Weekend day
    • $4.75/hour Weekend Night
    • $4.00/hour On Call Standby
