Compensation: $115K-$144K depending on experience
A growing healthcare organization serving a community of roughly 25,000 people and a broader service area of about 77,000 is seeking a Nurse Educator to support the development of its nursing staff. This is an opportunity to join an expanding organization in a region known for its abundant sunshine and outdoor lifestyle, with a small airport and a university nearby.
What you'll do- Plan, develop, coordinate, and deliver orientation and educational programming to new and existing nursing staff
- Oversee the nurse residency program
- Facilitate and teach certification classes for Healthcare Providers, including ACLS, ACLS-OB, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and ENPC
- Work closely with nursing managers, nursing staff, and education staff to support the development and maintenance of nursing skills through educational opportunities
- Report to the CNO
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 5 years nursing experience in acute care within the previous 7 years
- Minimum 2 years of experience in conducting nursing education
- Master's degree in nursing or a related field preferred
- CPR and ACLS/PALS instructor status preferred
- full-time, salary exempt position
- Salary range of $115K-$144K depending on experience
- Full benefits package including relocation assistance (5K)
