We are seeking an experienced On-Site Construction Quality Professional to represent the Owner during the construction phase of a utility-scale renewable energy project.

This individual will work directly with construction and project delivery teams to verify that construction activities comply with engineering designs, project specifications, contractual requirements, applicable codes, and quality standards.

The role focuses on implementing the Project Delivery Quality Management System (PDQMS), monitoring contractor QA/QC activities, identifying critical-to-quality (CTQ) activities, preventing quality issues, and driving continuous improvement throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Owner’s representative to oversee construction quality throughout the EPC project.
  • Develop and implement the site-specific quality plan in alignment with project risks, contract requirements, and applicable quality standards.
  • Conduct field inspections, quality verifications, and audits of contractor QA/QC activities.
  • Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, industry standards, local regulations, and contractual requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate quality risks early in the construction lifecycle.
  • Identify and monitor critical-to-quality (CTQ) activities, ensuring appropriate inspection and verification.
  • Review contractor quality documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Monitor the identification, containment, resolution, and prevention of quality issues.
  • Coordinate with contractor QA/QC teams, construction managers, discipline engineers, project leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper site document control, including the use, distribution, revision, and withdrawal of construction drawings.
  • Maintain detailed quality records, including inspection reports, test reports, quality logs, deficiencies, punch lists, turnover documentation, and other applicable project records.
  • Witness inspections and tests to verify workmanship and material compliance.
  • Support quality audits, site meetings, and technical reviews.
  • Monitor the resolution of deficiencies and escape unresolved quality issues to the Owner’s project leadership.
  • Support turnover documentation and preparation of the final quality dossier.
  • Provide regular quality status reports and promote a strong culture of quality and safety on site.
