Banquet Bartender – On‑Call Position
Responsibilities:
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages following standard recipes at cash and hosted bars.
- Ensure the banquet bar is set up appropriately and stocked with supplies; maintain accurate inventory records and cash bar bank within established procedures, policies and rules.
- Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
- Utilize POS system proficiently to accept payment and balance cash receipts, process bank at conclusion of event.
- Maintain accurate consumption sheets and related paperwork; comply with inventory control measures.
- Break down the bar and store supplies at the end of each function, maintaining a professional appearance and a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area following sanitation standards.
- Assist with banquet staff duties and facilitate a positive work environment.
- Alignment with Casino's Mission, Vision and Values.
- Ability to set up bars and accessories as directed by BEO and Banquet Captain.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills.
- Friendly, enthusiastic and professional demeanor when engaging guests and team members.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and remain available for on‑call assignments.
- Proficient in mixology, beer, wine, and alcohol safety awareness.
- Working knowledge of POS and BERG liquor dispensing systems.
- Basic math skills and ability to read/comprehend instructions, policy documents.
- Knowledge of health & safety standards and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and read/write English fluently.
- Willingness to perform other tasks assigned.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Three (3) years bartending experience required; or completion of Bartending School and two (2) years bartending experience.
- One (1) year banquet bartending experience required.
- At least two (2) years experience in a high‑volume banquet/catering operation with one (1) year fine‑dining service.
- Valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.
- Valid MAST certification.
- Ability to secure and maintain Spokane Tribe Gaming License.
- Strong guest service and problem‑solving skills; able to multitask and tolerate noise, smoke, temperature variations.

This position requires working at least two (2) events every thirty (30) days on an as‑needed basis. As an on‑call role, shifts may vary in frequency and duration, but team members must remain available and responsive when work opportunities arise.
