Food and Beverage Host

The Host is the first point of contact for our dining guests, managing warm welcomes, seating, and table service support. This entry-level role reports to the Food + Beverage Manager and requires no prior hospitality experience. Success in this role looks like a welcoming, well-run front door and steady support for servers and bussers during peak periods. This is a seasonal position requiring weekend and holiday availability.

Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, the Summit ated an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is a lot to do all year long.

• Perform opening and closing service duties with precision.
• Complete waste management, inventory replenishment, and equipment maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized service environment.

• Warmly welcome and seat guests, setting the tone for their dining experience.
• Share daily specials and seasonal menu offerings with guests.
• Offer personalized recommendations aligned with guest preferences and dietary needs.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the visit and address needs promptly.
• Assist with delivering food and beverages when needed.

• Support servers, hosts, and other support staff during peak service periods.
• Partner with the bussing team to maintain table turnover.

• Strong English communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to listen to and resolve concerns from colleagues and guests.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure while meeting service standards.
• Obtain and maintain a Washington State Food Worker Card.

Wage and Benefit Info:

The wage for this positions is: $21.75 - $22.50/hr

This is a non-benefited role.

All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).

All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.

All Team Members may participate in our Ally Heath benefit. It gives fast and easy access to Telemedicine and Mental Health appointments. It covers all family members and there are no copays or deductibles. It is a $4 deduction each week.
