Job OverviewAs a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organizational and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed.
Salary and Schedule Details- Your starting pay will be $17.13 to $19.13 depending on skills and experience.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- Part‑time position with variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours: 6‑12 hours.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
- Day‑to‑day engagement:
Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory; communicate with supervisor; provide feedback. - Holiday support:
Additional days and extended hours during peak holidays; may work on actual holiday dates. - Department resets:
Participate in installations, relocations, and resets of Hallmark fixtures; notified two weeks in advance. - Team support:
Assist other merchandisers within the network as needed.
This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, up to 50 pounds on occasion. You must kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day, and may need to climb stairs or step ladders.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Operating a digital handheld device to read documents and interpret information.
- Access to Wi‑Fi network and the Internet.
- Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.
Part‑time employees scheduled less than 30 hours are eligible for voluntary benefits including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage.
