General PurposeThe Retail Associate ensures a positive shopping experience by greeting customers, maintaining the store’s appearance, and performing a range of tasks as required.
Essential Functions- Practice safe behaviors and maintain a safe environment.
- Maintain awareness on the sales floor, keeping egress clear and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Treat customers and associates with respect and courtesy, using company recognition programs.
- Assist customers, answer questions, and greet all customers politely.
- Provide prompt responses to customer service calls.
- Represent and support the company brand at all times.
- Perform cleaning tasks and maintain the frontend, sales floor, and restrooms.
- Adhere to the company dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
- Complete daily sizing and recovery per best practices.
- Expedite incoming merchandise to the sales floor, merchandising per guidelines.
- Understand loss prevention and merchandise protection standards.
- Demonstrate integrity, safeguarding confidential information and cash.
- Follow mark‑out‑of‑stock procedures and cash handling policies.
- Show a sense of urgency and maximize productivity while minimizing steps.

Effectively communicate with customers, associates, and leadership in a friendly, respectful, and cooperative manner. Perform basic mathematical calculations used in retail.
Physical Requirements / ADA- Use all store equipment including PDTs, registers, and PC.
- Stand, walk, and move around the store up to 100 % of working time.
- Regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
- Occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other supplies.
- Stockroom shifts: regularly push, pull, and lift more than 20 pounds.

Base pay range: $16.66 – $17.16. The range depends on experience, skills, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority and location. Additional rewards vary by position and location.
