Job Summary

WaFd Bank is looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager for our Stanwood or Mt Vernon office. This position is salaried with both benefits and bonuses after a probationary period. There are no sales quota or goals, however, the position will write new business as well as round out accounts with new lines of business that we currently do not write for existing clients.

* Responsible for managing a Personal Lines book of business.

* Adherence to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations.

* Managing a Personal Lines book entails:

* Order changes to current policies.

* Order and review renewals for accuracy.

* Re-market policies, as agreed upon.

* Market new business with contracted carriers and brokerages

* Perform coverage reviews and counsel clients on recommended coverages.

* Generate proposals for new business and renewals

* Issue certificates and evidences.

* Report losses and follow-up with the client.

* Document electronic file completely and thoroughly.

* Utilize agency's latest technology to perform tasks.

* Invoice policies when necessary.

* Review and process endorsements, changes and address client concerns.

* Other duties assigned.

Qualifications

* Employee will need to have experience in all aspects of servicing Personal Lines accounts (billing, endorsements, certificates, etc.) as well as marketing both new business and renewals.

* Three years of Personal Lines Insurance experience in both sales and servicing of all lines of business for personal insurance accounts.

* P&C Insurance License preferred, but not required
