Tessera is seeking a detail-oriented Alarm Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm and communication systems.

This role focuses primarily on fire alarm systems while also assisting with related communications and alarm equipment. Working under the guidance of a senior Fire Alarm Technician, you will ensure all systems meet manufacturer specifications, NFPA standards, and safety codes.
** Typical duties include but are not limited to:
** Assist in development, implementation, and monitoring quality control and safety programs to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Applies practical application of technical knowledge of Fire Alarm Panel/Systems principles and determines malfunctions. Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems (i.e., those that typically cannot be solved solely by reference to manufacturers' manuals or similar documents) in working on Fire alarm equipment.

Such problems include resolving problems with equipment and/or systems where documentation is lacking or very vague.

** Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.  Must have experience and knowledge of industry safety standards.
