Tessera is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic/EVT II to maintain and repair a wide range of heavy machinery and emergency service vehicles.

In this role, you will diagnose malfunctions, rebuild engines and power systems, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. This position requires advanced technical expertise, welding and fabrication skills, and a higher level of certification than Heavy Mechanic Level I.
** Typical duties include but are not limited to:
** Train employees on job tasks and assignments to ensure complete understanding of work assigned.  Monitor employee performance to ensure efficient use of time and performance of work tasks.  Monitor employees to ensure efficient use of time, performance, and understanding of work tasks.

* Qualifications:

** 5-8 years of experience as an automotive mechanic or closely related field. A combination of education and experience can be considered. Ability to read, understand, and follow technical manuals to ensure proper diagnosis and repair.  Ability to read and troubleshoot repairs on brakes, suspensions, wheels, hubs, and steering systems.
