LRI 304th St. Landfill, a proud Waste Connections company, is seeking a skilled Landfill Gas Technician to join our passionate team in Graham, WA. As an industry leader in environmental sustainability and waste management, we are looking for a forward-thinking, proactive individual who excels both in collaborative team environments and while working independently.

This full-time, year-round position provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on landfill gas operations while advancing sustainability initiatives and environmental responsibility.
* Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with monthly or occasional Saturdays.
* The starting pay range will be $23.00 - $25.50/HR.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Operate and Maintain LFG Systems:
Manage landfill gas collection systems, including vertical wells, condensate collection, monitoring stations, and pneumatic pumps.
* Monitor and Optimize:
Monitor well fields, perimeter wells, pump stations, and leachate levels regularly to improve collection efficiency.
* Troubleshoot & Repair:
Balance extraction wells and perform maintenance and minor repairs.
* System Maintenance:
Maintain LFG control plants, flare units, and leachate control systems.

* Collaboration:

Escort and coordinate with third-party contractors to ensure smooth operations.
* Compliance & Reporting:
Prepare and submit compliance, operational, and safety reports.
** Requirements:
*** Must be at least 18 years of age.
* 1 to 2 years of experience in industrial process control, preferably with landfill gas collection systems.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Ability to stand outdoors for up to 10-hour shifts.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
* Must pass a drug screen and pre-employment background check.
* Special consideration is given to someone with experience with pneumatic pump troubleshooting and repair.
