$54.03 per hour. Day shift – Monday through Friday 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Overtime available.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in a 24/7 specialty chemical plant.
- Ensure that electrical systems are safe and running efficiently.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- Maintain, repair, install and test switch gear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors.
- Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain maintenance records.
- Repair large electrical equipment such as industrial fans, large motors or control systems.
- Install and test new equipment and systems.
- Repair or maintain older, pre‑existing systems.
- Read blueprints and follow diagrams of circuits and wiring.
- Use various hand and diagnostic tools in testing and repairing equipment.
- Work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have completed an accredited journeyman-level Electrical Apprenticeship Program and hold a current state electrical license (preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an industrial related industry working with low to medium voltage equipment; high voltage experience is a plus.
- Willingness to work both scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including after‑hours calls.
- Strong work ethic and high level of integrity; ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Self‑starter, motivated, able to work with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; computer proficient with MS Office and other applications.
- High regard for safety and the environment.
We offer competitive compensation packages, inclusive of a global bonus program and an individual performance bonus program. The starting pay for this position is $54.03 per hour.
