Job Description
We’re more than a construction crew. At Markham Group LLC., we’re building great people who build great homes and turning your dreams into reality.
Markham Group LLC. is founded on an understanding that integrity and quality craftsmanship are fundamental to building relationships and creating a business that doesn’t only serve its owners, but also serves its employees, subcontractors, and customers. We’re a family business that’s not afraid of hard work if that’s what it takes to achieve excellence.
Expectations- Respectful: This is a personality trait, and it must be present in all that you do and with everyone you interact with on the job. You must inherently respect the job site and treat the home you are working on as if it is your own. You must treat your co‑workers, the clients, the subcontractors, and everyone who comes onto the job with courtesy and patience.
If you are a lone wolf, confrontational, or just here to make a buck, then this is not the company for you. - Craftsman: You must want to do the job right, and you must insist that those around you do not cut corners. You hold yourself and your teammates to the highest possible standards. We don’t expect you to know it all (we will train), but we do expect you to do your job well all day, every day.
- Hard Worker: This is a physical job, and you must be prepared for long, hard days of taxing labor. We do not expect that you will show up every day and work at break‑neck speed, but we do expect you to have a sense of urgency about everything you do. There will be occasional days when you will be asked to work late to complete a critical task and keep the job moving.
- Reliable: You need to show up on time every day regardless of personal circumstances, the condition of your vehicle, or weather.
- Flexible: You will be required to do a bit of everything including, but not limited to demolition, framing, trim carpentry, site clean‑up, punch list, and warranty work. You will need to be able to move quickly from task‑to‑task without getting overwhelmed.
- 8‑hour shift (may include some longer or shorter days.)
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday (potential of weekend work scheduled in advance)
