The Recovery Support Specialist, as part of the substance use disorder treatment team, is responsible for developing respectful, professional relationships with clients that assist them in being successful in their journey to recovery in the residential setting. Recovery Support Specialists provide for the safety of clients, oversee medication calls, and other activities in the residential setting, coordinate client medical and other appointments, and provide transportation for clients (if needed).
Wage Range: $18.50‑$19.92 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday Through Sunday, 3:00 pm‑12:00 am
This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement.
Shift differential is provided for swing & graveyard shifts.

Requirements- High school graduate/GED or equivalent.
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
- Must obtain WA Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum of 1‑2 years of previous/related experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work with a low‑income, multi‑ethnic patient population and a demonstrated ability to relate respectfully and effectively to people of diverse racial, educational and socio‑economic backgrounds.
- Must be a confident, self‑directed individual who can work within a team as well as independently.
- Strong communication, organization, documentation and record‑keeping skills necessary.
