UI​/UX Software Engineer

• Design and develop high-performance user interfaces for monitoring, controlling, and reporting on system components.
• Implement RESTful APIs to integrate various subsystems and services.
• Maintain and enhance preexisting software applications ensuring long-term stability and performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and performance issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Work within an Agile / Scrum development environment, contributing to team goals and meeting project deadlines.
• Independently explore architectural software challenges, recommending and implementing solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specifications and ensure requirements are met.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (hard science required).
• 5-7 years of experience as a Software Engineer, specializing in web application development.
• Extensive experience in the Telecom industry and working with system integration.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Shell, Java, JavaScript, and Linux-based systems.
• Proficiency with GIT, Bitbucket, and related development tools
• Strong knowledge of UI / web technologies and modern development frameworks.
• Experience with AWS services and familiarity with cloud-based systems.
• Familiarity with CI / CD tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Proficiency with REST API tools and frameworks (e.g., Swagger).
• Solid understanding of relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and proficiency in query optimization.
• Ability to write clear specifications and requirements for application functions, features, and goals.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with all levels of management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new languages, platforms, and technologies.
