- Provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe service to customers at checkout and returns, processing Checkout and/or Return transactions and monitoring the Self-Checkout area.
- Proactively seek product knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities.
- Follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink.
- Head Cashier responsibilities include expediting price checks, approving Point of Sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
- Provide first-level escalation for customer issues and assist in the supervision, coaching and training of Front End Associates by participating in the training of new Cashiers and by using available tools to coach and develop other Cashiers.
- Preferred qualification: 1+ years of cashier experience.
