OpportunityPortland Tractor is looking for an Inventory Analyst to join our team in Washougal, Washington
. As the Inventory Analyst you will maintain the parts databases in the USA and Canada.
- Determine inventory assortment and quantities at all branch locations based on sales history and customer demand
- Review branch inventories to maintain inventory turns and initiate corrective action as required
- Prepare and analyze data to assist senior management with continuous improvement
- Communicate regularly with branch staff regarding inventory related changes
- Contribute to establishing procedures to support customers, manage price changes and annual returns, and general policies and procedures
- Work with business leaders to develop reports used to track KPIs
- Review and manage open purchase orders
- Assist Branch Managers with preparing vendor returns for slow moving or non-moving inventory
- Assist branches with annual cyclical inventory counts
Skills & Qualifications
- Two years of prior experience in data analysis
- Post‑secondary education in inventory, logistics, operations management, or a related discipline is required
- Experience with inventory management and control systems
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel and Access
- Experience with Sage 100 considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding problem solving skills and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills and prioritization skills
- Goal focused and detail oriented with a drive for continuous improvement
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Ability to lead and manage a project from inception to completion

The base pay range for this role is: $40,000 to $47,000 per year, depending on experience. This is an onsite role based in Washougal, Washington
