Position Overview
Orthopedic Physicians Alaska seeks a highly skilled, dedicated, and professional Hand Therapist to join our rapidly growing and dynamic team at OPA Wasilla. Key ResponsibilitiesWith minimal supervision, the Hand Therapist implements high‑quality hand therapy services for patients and caregivers, facilitates patient care in accordance with physical/occupational therapy principles and OPA policies, and assists the Lead Hand Therapist with the daily operation of the Hand Therapy clinic. The Hand Therapist develops treatment plans, supervises assistants and aides, contributes to case management, provides quality patient care, and maintains a positive level of interaction with clients to enhance and expand client relations with OPA facilities and staff.
Required Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited OT/PT program after completing a minimum bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum prior experience: 1 year in orthopedic hands; desired Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is a plus.
- Licensed in Alaska and in good standing to practice PT/OT.
