RN Operating Room, Pre-Op & PACU
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the Pre-Op, Operating Room, and PACU settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and prepare patients for surgical procedures and verify preoperative requirements.
- Provide safe nursing care and assist the surgical team during procedures.
- Monitor patients in PACU and assess recovery from anesthesia.
- Administer medications, treatments, and postoperative care as ordered.
- Monitor vital signs and recognize changes requiring immediate intervention.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow surgical, infection-control, and patient-safety standards.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current and active RN license as required by the state.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification preferred/required based on role.
- Previous OR, Pre-Op, or PACU experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and perioperative nursing skills.
