Overview

Food and Beverage, Starbucks, Deli, Bakery (T1765) — Part-time role in Watauga, TX with starting hourly rate of $15.50 USD per hour.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over tasks.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing and storing reserve product.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to set, maintain and implement planned changes to salesfloor merchandise displays and backroom organization.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Comply with federal, state and local adult beverage laws as they apply to your duties.
• Use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive-up while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Address guest needs and thank guests for shopping with Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age (Bakery Only).
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and related technology; strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to stay focused and managed in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders; move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and potential allergens.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
