Position: Virtual Campus Life Student Employee

Job Summary

The Virtual Student Engagement and Activities student employee reports to the Virtual Campus Life Director and assists in organizing, coordinating and facilitating workshops, activities and events for Virtual Campus Life. This position is designed to give the student the opportunity to participate in practical, hands‑on experience in the area of Student Engagement and Activities programming.

Essential Job Functions
  • Assist the Virtual Campus Life Director with the planning and implementation of student workshops, webinars, activities and events to provide a high-quality student engagement experience.
  • Assist in the development of marketing strategies for events and educational efforts.
  • Managing the organization and distribution of daily event promotions.
  • Work collaboratively with university departments and student organizations to develop educational and programming initiatives.
  • Devote 10-15 hours per week to position (structure to be determined by student and supervisor).
  • Serve as a positive role model and resource to students, clubs and organizations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education ,

Skills and Abilities
  • Candidates must be enrolled in a degree granting program at Post University; with full‑time status, in good academic standing with no disciplinary infractions.
  • Knowledge and experience of assessment, student organizations, event planning, and social media marketing.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, faculty, and associates.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75 for undergraduates, 3.25 for graduate students
