About the RoleAs a facilities Site-Lead Senior Engineer
, you will work on projects that enable the heart of our client’s semiconductor manufacturing in Wilton, CT
. You will manage the site’s capital improvements team and serve as the owner’s representative and operations interface for capital projects. You will collaborate with on‑site design teams on planning, execution, and closeout, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and project delivery standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide daily engineering support to Maintenance and vendors (Sustain Operations).
- Lead engineering expertise from concept through construction and turnover on capital projects (Execute Capital Projects).
- Mentor ASML staff and integrate standards and tools into the CRE engineering roadmap (Transfer Knowledge).
- Oversee a multidisciplinary team of 5-6 engineers, designers, and project managers.
- Interact with clients, contractors, and site personnel to design, develop, and evaluate recommendations (BOD, SOW).
- Oversee QA/QC on facility mechanical/process systems, including HVAC, process cooling water, wastewater, fire protection, plumbing, and P&C.
- Manage retrofits of existing building systems and new system implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Connecticut or ability to obtain within 3 months (active NCEES record).
- 15+ years of practical application of process and mechanical/process facilities engineering, including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, waste systems, chemical and gas distribution, and pure water.
- 5+ years of experience with design project delivery processes.
- 4+ years of leading engineering design teams and personnel development.
- 2+ years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools (manufacture, installation, or use in clean rooms).
- 2+ years in a client‑facing role focused on scope and schedule development, deliverable definition, staffing, and project delivery.
- Solid knowledge of ASME B31.3, building codes, fire codes, SEMI, NFPA, IBC/IMC, CT regulations, and ASHRAE.
- Experience reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications.
- Field experience interacting with subcontractors and construction personnel.
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

This is an onsite position requiring work at the client site in Wilton, CT. The candidate must be willing to commute on-site Monday‑Friday during normal business hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility).
Physical Requirements- Field visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction.
- Ability to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, in small spaces, and lift up to 25 lbs.
