Job Description

Process manufactured parts through washing equipment according to control plan and customer requirements. Ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the entire process while working in a team. The first shift is Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with occasional overtime.

  • Ownership of equipment start up, ensuring settings are correct to prescribed readings, including the proper addition of cleaning solutions and rust preventative per lab instruction.
  • Conduct periodic chemistry testing of water/soap mixture and maintain proper levels.
  • Maintain existing automation and its functions.
  • Responsible for safe use of electric power equipment (pallet jack).
  • Load and unload machine, managing lot integrity.
  • Packing parts according to predetermined customer quality requirements.
  • Utilize automated and manual packing instructions found in operator book.
  • Move processed work to proper department or staging area, maintaining proper lot control procedures.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of work area and equipment.
  • Label and move drums containing skimmed oil to staging area for proper disposal.
  • Follow all procedures as outlined in the ITW Drawform Quality System.
  • Follow all safety and environmental policies and procedures of ITW Drawform.
  • Additional duties as required.
  • Qualifications
    • High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
    • Able to lift approximately 50 pounds on a regular basis.
    • Pallet jack experience preferred.
