Our client is seeking Behavioral Health Urgent Care RN (BHUC Registered Nurse). CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
  • Nursing Assessments:
    Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of individual's mental health and substance use needs, including physical health assessments (PHR).
  • Treatment Planning:
    Develop and implement individualized care plans, often in collaboration with a psychiatric prescriber or physician.
  • Medication Management:
    Administer medications prescribed by MCMHA prescriber/psychiatrist, monitor patient responses, and document any adverse reactions.
  • Patient

    Education:

    Educate patients and their families about medications, treatment plans, and coping strategies.
  • Crisis Intervention:
    Provide immediate support and intervention during mental health crises.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • RN in the state of MI and education equivalent to a four‑year degree preferred
  • One (1) year of work experience with adults and children with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Experience in treatment of individuals with mental illness and persons with developmental disabilities required.
  • Experience with multidisciplinary treatment teams required.
