The Department of Vermont Health Access seeks a Quality Program Specialist to support the Quality Improvement Unit in risk and quality management activities for Vermont's Medicaid Program. The role involves analyzing federal standards, maintaining performance scorecards, coordinating improvement projects, and working with internal and external stakeholders to foster continuous quality improvement. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Waterbury, VT, with a hybrid work environment and Monday-Friday schedule.
Keyqualifications:
- Associate's degree in human services, business administration or related field with 5+ years quality assurance, data analytics, or contracts/grants experience
- Bachelor's degree in human services, business administration or related field with 3+ years relevant experience
- Master's degree in human services, business administration or related field with 2+ years relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with clear oral and written communication
- Moderate to advanced proficiency in Word and Excel with experience in continuous quality improvement concepts
