DescriptionCashier position responsible for operating the register, maintaining a clean and organized work area, reporting discrepancies, balancing the cash drawer, and providing outstanding customer service.
Position Responsibilities/Accountabilities- Operate register and handle cash transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional area at all times.
- Report to the Customer Service Manager any items not on file or incorrect retails.
- Balance cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of the shift.
- Provide outstanding customer service to all customers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with customers, employees, and management.
- Ability to prioritize work tasks, multitask, and maintain focus.
- Flexible schedule availability.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Work performed in a typical retail environment.
- Ability to lift weights up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in different controlled climates.
